Usage and installation steps of stainless steel insert bearings

When installing stainless steel insert bearings, we should put the bearings on the shaft first, and firmly fix the housings on the supporting surface, a then tighten the bearings on the shaft. The tightening method between the bearing and the shaft is as follows: for the insert bearing with an eccentric sleeve, put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric table of the bearing inner ring, tighten the eccentric sleeve along the direction of shaft rotation, and then tighten the set screw on the eccentric sleeve with an Allen screw wrench.

Correct installation is very import for the use of stainless steel insert bearings. During installation, mechanical, heating, or hydraulic methods can be selected based on bearings' type and size. The force applied to the insert bearing with a housing during installation must not be transmitted from one bearing ring to another through the rolling element; otherwise it may cause damage to the raceway. Please do not struck the rings, cages, balls and seals.
