CTS SER insert bearing with snap ring is made from chrome steel. The SER insert has a cylindrical OD and is equipped with a snap ring in the outside diameter. The SER insert bearing is used in applications where the housing is machined to accept snap rings or the snap ring is used for the retention of the bearing. It has a Neoprene Contact Seal designed to keep lubricant in and keep contaminants out. The SER insert is commonly used in bearing housings or gear box applications designed for snap ring bearing retention. CTS SER insert bearings come standard as a regreaseable type with a grease access channel machined in the outside diameter.
