How many types are pillow block bearings classified?

Pillow block bearings can be divided into three types according to the method of cooperation with the shaft:
1.Ball Bearings with Set Screw:UC200 series (light load duty), UC300 series (heavy load duty), and deformation product SB 200 series.If the application environment is small, the UC200 series is usually selected, otherwise the UC300 series is chosen. Usually, there are two set screws on the pillow block ball bearing, with an angle of 120 °. Its characteristic is that when cooperating with the shaft, the set screws are used to press against the shaft and then fix it.This type of ball bearing is widely used in textile machinery, ceramic machinery, etc
2.Radial Insert Ball Bearing With Tapered Bore:UK200 series, UK300 series.This type of ball bearing has a tapered inner hole with an inner diameter of 1:12, which needs to be used with a Adapter Sleeve. The characteristic of this type of ball bearing is that it can accept larger loads than those with set screws.Due to the inner diameter of the same type of Adapter Sleeve used in cooperation with it is smaller than that of UC ball bearing, for example, the inner diameter of ball bearing UC209 is 45mm, and the diameter of the shaft used in cooperation with it is 45mm. However, if it is replaced with UK bearing, only the Adapter Sleeve with an inner diameter of 45mm can be selected, and the ball bearing used in cooperation with the 45mm Adapter Sleeve is only UK210 (of course, if it fits higher, UK310 can be selected). Therefore, the compatibility accepted by UK210 is much greater than that of UC209.
3.Ball Bearings with Eccentric Locking Collar:UEL200 series, UEL300 series, and SA200 series.The primary feature of this type of ball bearing is that the upper end of the bearing has a certain degree of eccentricity, and an Eccentric Locking Collar with the same eccentricity cooperates with it. This type of bearing can also be considered a specialized bearing, and it is primarily used in agricultural machinery such as harvesters, straw returning machines, threshers, etc.
